WAROUT PSS CENTRE

WAROUT PSS is based within Warout Primary School, in Glenrothes. We work with pupils who are finding things a bit tricky in their own mainstream schools.

We work together with pupils, their parents/carers, other adults and their mainstream schools to put strategies in place to make school a bit easier.

Our school day:

Our morning sessions run from 09:15am - 12:30pm on Monday - Friday.

Our afternoon sessions run from 1:20pm - 2:45pm on Monday - Thursday.

Our sessions timings:

Morning session:

09:15am - 09:30am - Welcome chat and breakfast

09:30am - 10:40am - Learning tasks 

10:40am - 11:00am - Break time

11:00am - 12:10pm - Learning time

12:10pm - 12:30pm - Lunch time

12:30pm - Taxi back to school or home

 

Afternoon session:

1:20pm - 1:25pm - Welcome chat

1:25pm - 2:45pm - Learning tasks

2:45pm - Taxi back to school or home

At Warout, we don't just learn in the classrooms. On outdoor learning sessions, we spend time exploring the outdoors, gardening, visiting areas in the local community as well as venturing further afield.

We can provide outdoor clothing when needed.
